- Donors can make a permanent investment in Ragin' Cajun Athletics through the Ragin' Cajun Athletic Endowment.
- As with academic endowments, a gift to the Ragin' Cajun Athletic Endowment can be designated by the donor for the support of any athletic team, program or department.
- A gift of $10,000 or more establishes an athletic endowment and provides the donor with a permanent naming opportunity. Interest earnings from an athletic endowment fund will annually support the athletic team, program or department of the donor's choosing.
- Donors of athletic endowments receive an annual report from the UL Lafayette Foundation on the financial status of their endowment fund.
